The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation,pricing and promotional signing processes for allGeneral Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick,pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store   

• Experience in retail business fundamentalsincluding: department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement  

• Experienceexecuting the daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals  

As a Reverse Logsitics Expert, notwo days are ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely include the following responsibilities: 

• Beknowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in thetotal store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for theguest and improve their experience. 

• Receive deliveries using the receive application and process all inbound store transfers to ensure inventory accuracy. 

• Responsible for ensuring Direct to Store Deliveries (DSD) and Advance Direct to Store Deliveries (ADSD) are accurately received following the outlined processes. 

• Follow up daily to ensure all unacknowledged deliveries have been received. 

• Accurately handle allfreight shipments related paperwork; make shipping arrangements when necessary. 

• Execute donations,Central Return Center (CRC), electronics recycling, transfer orders (store to store and sweeps), salvage and inventory removals (IRs)arein compliance with all DOT regulations and best methods.  

• Identify and handle environmentally sensitive item management (ESIM) in the reverselogistics area in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 

• Complete the ESIM weekly log. 

• Processvendorcredits and damaged/defective items accurately andin a timely manner to minimize shortage and compliance risk;handle merchandise returns according to company and vendor guidelines. 

• Responsible formaintaining all invoices and documentation per record retention guidelinespertaining to deliveries, ESIM waste pickups and all outboundshipments. 

• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise. 

• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safety and compliance. 

• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. 

• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) andDrive up (DU) andmaintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beverage laws. 

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks. 

• When guests needassistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs. 

• Thankguests and let them knowwe’re happy they chose to shop at Target.

Thegood news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be aReverse Logistics Expert.But,there are a few skills you should have from the get-go: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older. 

• Previous receiving orreverselogistics experience preferred, but notrequired 

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members 

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices andoperate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed 

• Work both independently and with a team 

• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot 

• Attention to detail and follow a multi-stepprocesses 

• Capability toremain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment andaccomplish multiple tasks within establishedtimeframes

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed  

• Climb up and down ladders 

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, includingfrequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds  

• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights,weekends and holidays) reliable and prompt attendance necessary 

• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc. 

• Ability toremain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
