RCM Data & Migration Lead

Location: Chicago, IL

Onsite Flexibility: Remote

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension supporting additional practice migrations)
  • Pay Rate: $40.00–$45.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Days; strong coverage during U.S. business hours required; 40 hours per week

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experiencedRCM Data & Migration Lead to support a physician-practice revenue cycle management migration toUnlimited Financials / Unlimited Systems. This is a hands-on, techno-functional role requiring strong experience across RCM operations, healthcare data, platform migration and data validation. The successful candidate will work closely with business, platform and data teams to support source-to-target mapping, data cleanup, migration testing, reconciliation and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience within physician-practice or oncology RCM environments and be comfortable translating between operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primarytechno-functional liaison across RCM business, Unlimited Financials platform and data teams.
  • Lead and supportsource-to-target data mapping for physician-practice RCM migrations.
  • Perform and coordinate data cleanup, transformation, validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop detailed migration test cases and support execution across test and validation cycles.
  • Analyze data discrepancies and migration issues and drive resolution across business and technical teams.
  • Validate migrated data for completeness, accuracy and business usability.
  • Identify and communicate migration risks, dependencies, issues and progress to project stakeholders.
  • Support troubleshooting across source systems, target platform and data pipelines.
  • Maintain clear documentation for data mappings, validation rules, issues and migration decisions.
  • Work appropriately withprotected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

  • Strong experience with migration testing.
  • Strong experience with issue analysis and resolution.
  • StrongSQL and data-analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting complex data migration initiatives involving multiple business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience handling PHI in HIPAA-regulated environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate effectively between business requirements, platform capabilities and technical data requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting multiple physician-practice migrations.
  • Previous experience within oncology, specialty care or healthcare services environments.
  • Experience working across legacy and target RCM platforms during large-scale migration programs.
  • Familiarity with data quality, migration controls and production validation processes.
  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing delivery environments.

Required Experience

  • 7 years of relevant experience across RCM, healthcare data, data migration or related technical delivery roles.
  • Hands-on experience withphysician-practice or oncology revenue cycle management.
  • Experience working withUnlimited Financials / Unlimited Systems.
