Project Manager - Disrepair (Social Housing)
Reporting To: Operations Manager

The Role

As aProject Manager - Disrepair, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of social housing disrepair projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead operational teams, manage client and resident relationships, monitor financial performance, and drive service excellence across your projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of social housing disrepair projects from inception to completion.

  • Lead Site Managers, Supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

  • Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.

  • Monitor programme performance, costs, KPIs, risks, and quality standards.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.

  • Manage resident engagement and support the resolution of escalated customer issues.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and industry regulations.

  • Produce regular project reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

  • Drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as aProject Manager within the Social Housing sector.

  • Previous experience managingDisrepair projects.

  • Strong understanding of disrepair legislation, processes, and contractual obligations.

  • Experience managing direct labour, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.

  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.

  • Excellent client, stakeholder, and resident relationship management skills.

  • SMSTS, CSCS Card, and Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
