Job Summary:

Join RailPros as aRail Structures Design Intern and dive into the dynamic field ofrail infrastructure. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to thedesign anddevelopment of rail projects, in particular the design or rail bridges, culverts and retaining walls. As a vital team member, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience withindustry-leading CAD software, and play a key role in the success of ongoing projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in Design Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of rail infrastructure projects by working closely with the rail design team. Collaborate with rail Structural engineers to createdetailed design drawings, plans, and specifications.
• CAD Modeling and Drafting: Utilizecomputer-aided design (CAD) software (Microstation) to produceaccurate and detailed models and drawings. Ensure designs comply withindustry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects to support design and development activities.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively withcross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers. Communicate ideas, progress, and challenges clearly and effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Participate inquality assurance andquality control activities to ensure designs meetclient standards and are error-free.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency withelectronic communication (e-mail, text) andstandard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Basicoral and written communication skills.
• Strongproblem-solving andanalytical skills.
• Ability to workindependently andprioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Required Education and Experience:

• Working towards aBachelor’s degree in CivilEngineering or Mechanical Engineering from anABET/EAC accredited program.
• No prior experience
