Radiographer - Imaging Assistants

Join our dynamic healthcare team at Lumus Imaging as an Imaging Assistant.

This is a casual position where you will assist general, CT and MRI radiographers in asking patients critical questions, obtaining their medical history, outlining risks involved, and explaining procedures.

You must be able to assist in positioning patients undergoing CT scans and you may be asked to assist at our other sites including Brunswick Private Hospital.

About you:

• This is an excellent opportunity for a student of Radiography or someone with a keen interest in medical imaging
• Sound medical knowledge is preferable but not essential
• You can work in a team environment.
• You are empathetic and a clear communicator
• You're available for extended trading hours and weekends
• Able to lift patients and reposition them as needed
