Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer

We are hiring aSenior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to drive dependable releases by leading a QA team and expanding automated coverage. You will partner with product and engineering, automate UI and Web Service/API scenarios, and refine our automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a tester team by setting direction and unblocking delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather and analyze system requirements
• Develop end-to-end test plans, test cases and test strategies
• Plan and prioritize testing activities to maximize coverage and efficiency
• Build, enhance and run automation scripts using advanced automation tools
• Log, track and validate defects to ensure timely resolution
• Set and enforce quality standards while promoting best practices
• Review QA metrics and trends to support continuous improvement
• Keep up with new testing tools, technologies and best practices
• Share meaningful input in QA meetings and participate in testing activities

Requirements

• 6–9 years of professional Automation Testing experience centered on JavaScript
• Advanced expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with 4–6 years of hands-on delivery
• 1+ year of leadership experience coordinating or leading testing efforts
• Strong proficiency in UI Automation tooling, including Playwright, Mocha and Chai
• Practical familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress
• Experience building Web Service and API Test Automation, including test cases and test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of Webdriver I/O usage for UI testing
• B2+ English level (Upper-Intermediate)
