Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&DTech Solution Lead to join our team and take charge of designing, developing, building, and implementing technology solutions across R&D.; In this role, you will provide technical leadership across applications and products, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, software engineering, modern programming practices, and the effective use of Artificial Intelligence.

You will be instrumental in solving complex technical challenges and ensuring the smooth functioning, scalability, security, and maintainability of R&D; technology solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions across R&D; by defining solution architecture, designing and coding software components, and ensuring functionality, usability, scalability, security, and adherence to engineering standards
• Providing hands-on technical leadership across Microsoft Azure services, cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, application development, and DevOps practices
• Developing, reviewing, and guiding software solutions using programming languages and technologies such as React, Java, JavaScript, and other relevant modern development frameworks
• Working with product teams, business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and external partners to translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions
• Addressing and resolving complex bugs, integration issues, performance concerns, and technical risks across R&D; applications and platforms

• Evaluating and recommending appropriate technologies, frameworks, Azure services, and infrastructure components to enhance solution efficiency, resilience, and scalability
• Exploring and applying Artificial Intelligence capabilities to relevant R&D; use cases, while considering responsible AI, data privacy, security, compliance, and business value
• Supporting engineering governance through design reviews, code reviews, technical documentation, quality controls, and adherence to the system development lifecycle
• Proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, technical debt reduction, and modernization across R&D; technology solutions.

Validation & Compliance (GxP)

• Ensure all configuration and deployment activities comply withGxP, validation, and audit requirements.
• Support creation and maintenance ofvalidation documentation, including:
• Configuration specifications
• Impact assessments
• Test evidence and traceability
• Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as needed.

Operational Support & Issue Resolution

• SupportLevel 2 / Level 3 incidents, defects, and change requests related to Vault configuration and deployments.
• Troubleshoot configuration and environment‑related issues in collaboration with Veeva, internal teams, and vendors.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues impacting business operations. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate withProduct Managers, Architects, QA, and Business SMEs to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• SupportUAT execution and coordinate defect resolution.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders on release readiness, risks, and deployment status. 

Documentation & Tools

• Maintain accurate documentation for:
• Configuration changes
• Deployment activities
• Validation deliverables
• UseJira, ALM, or equivalent tools for change tracking, defect management, and release coordination.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering,or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience in software engineering, solution design, and product delivery.
• Hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure across application hosting, integration, security, monitoring, data, and automation; a relevantAzure certification is preferred.
• Strong programming and application development experience withReact,Java, JavaScript, APIs, modern frameworks, and related technologies.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and implementingenterprise applications and scalable technology solutions, including SaaS platforms.
• Sound understanding ofArtificial Intelligence and Generative AI, including practical applications, responsible AI, data privacy, and security.
• Experience withDevOps and Agile engineering practices, including CI/CD, source control, automated testing, infrastructure as code, monitoring, release management, and the system development lifecycle.
• Sound understanding ofcybersecurity, compliance, data privacy, and risk management, preferably in a regulatedpharmaceutical or life sciences R&D environment.
• Strongproblem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, communication, and technical leadership skills, with a hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to evolving technology and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Azure certification relevant to solution architecture, application development, or DevOps engineering
• Experience with Azure AI services, machine learning services, generative AI solutions, or AI-enabled application development
• Experience with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, or other SaaS platforms used in Pharma and Life Sciences
• Knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud security, and modern application architecture.
