Our R&D Internships - Taste The Future Program UK are 12 months long (although some roles have the flexibility to be shorter) and during your placement, we’ll make you an integral part of our team and give you a real job – with real responsibilities – from day one. We hope to help you expand your horizons and encourage your personal and professional development.  We want to make sure you get the most from your time with us. That’s why once you join we’ll work out ambitious but achievable goals for you. Then through the support of a mentor and regular reviews with your manager, we’ll help you achieve them.Â
Life in Research Development Quality (RDQ):Â
As an intern in R&D at Mondelēz International, you’ll take ownership of projects. You will contribute to the future of snacking by keeping the consumer at the heart of our innovation. Deliverables may include producing technical reports and presentations, sharing insights with stakeholders and fostering transparency and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to work with the broader RDQ community, business functions, and external suppliers, building your network and confidence. Beyond your primary project, you may support ongoing activities, gaining diverse experiences and contributing to a sustainable future. For some roles, occasional international travel may be required.

We are currently seeking a Designer for a Student Placement, to work in theGlobal DesignTeam forMondelÄ“z.At MondelÄ“z International, we craft iconic brands, creating moments of pure joy for consumers worldwide. Our Global Design team plays akey role in ensuring our brandsremain world-class, andwe're excited to offer a unique opportunity to shape the future of chocolate.Â
As a Student Designer in ourDesign Hub,you'llplay an integral partin project teams, helping tocreate brilliant and meaningfulsnacks that consumerslove.You'llget to work on an array ofdesign projects, fromidentifying exciting opportunities to transforming consumer insights and desires into concepts that meet real needs.Â
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Design Team and Project Teams across the total creative spectrum.Â
Create and articulatenewdesign concepts using design tools (sketching, rendering, 3D CAD etc.) to bring ideas to life.Â
Support the briefing process, then collaborate with and guide the design delivery of external design resources.Â
Use multi fidelity prototyping and visualisation tools to bringideas anddesigns to life, enabling decision making and consumer studies.Â
Support project leaders in development ofdesign ideas and product experiences, gathering and interpretinginformation from market research and stakeholder assessments.Â
What we’re looking for:
You should be working towards aDegree inDesign– Industrial Design, Product Design,Graphic Design or other related designor creative field.Â
Experienceusing 3D CAD software (SolidWorks and Rhino are our primarysoftware)Â- desirable but not essential.Â
Ability to visualise ideas to a high standard (KeyShot, Adobe Suite,Procreate),as well as the ability tocapture ideas by hand!Â
Experience and an interest in packaging design would be desirable.Â
Can write and articulate creative briefs in English toagood standard.Â
Knowledge of materials andmanufacturing processes would be an advantage.Â
A creative and consumer focused mind to generate innovative design solutions to real consumer problems.Â
A passion to learn andawillingness to develop new skills.

Starting salary: ÂŁ23,793
This position does not meet the minimum salary requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Therefore, we are unable to consider applicants who require sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
