Quality Inventory Control Associate - 1st

Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inventory Control Associate for our automotive manufacturing client.

Shift: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: 18.50/hr
Overtime: Must be willing to work overtime on short notice when needed. Overtime may not be required every week.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory verification throughout assigned warehouse locations

• Assist with physical inventory counts and quality audits

• Investigate, reconcile, and report inventory discrepancies between physical inventory and WMS records

• Verify lot numbers, part numbers, quantities, and warehouse locations

• Assist with inventory adjustments in the WMS system as directed

• Support FIFO and inventory rotation practices

• Verify raw material, rack, and row locations

• Ensure products are properly labeled and identified

• Monitor inventory stored in quality hold areas to ensure proper tagging, documentation, and segregation

• Assist with monitoring inventory status, including approved, hold, and rejected material

• Support traceability and documentation requirements for quality investigations

• Assist with inventory metrics and reporting

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures

• Assist with quality projects and other duties assigned by management

• Support the company's quality management system

Qualifications

• 1 year of material handling experience preferred

• Must be able to pass a Material Handler forklift aptitude written test and driving evaluation

• General knowledge of CCore or another WMS system

• RF scanning and label printing experience preferred

• Excel experience preferred

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work accurately in a warehouse environment

• Must be willing to work overtime with short notice when required
