Pay: $16.00 /hr. + $0.75 shift differential
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Spherion Mid Ohio is looking for Quality Inspectors to join a quality inspection team supporting a major manufacturing operation in Marion.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into manufacturing or quality work. No previous quality inspection experience is required. The work is straightforward, training is provided for each project, and there is an opportunity to be hired permanently.

Current Openings

• 1st Shift: approximately 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM
• $16.00 /hr. + $0.75 shift differential
• Monday - Friday
• Overtime may be required

What You'll Do

• Inspect parts and components for defects
• Sort and separate acceptable and defective parts
• Follow project-specific inspection instructions
• Perform primarily visual quality checks
• Record inspection results as required
• Work on different inspection projects based on production needs
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Each project is different, so you'll receive training on exactly what you're inspecting, what defects to look for and the proper process to follow.

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and able to maintain good attendance
• Comfortable sitting or standing throughout the shift
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Good attention to detail
• Willing to work required overtime when needed
• High school diploma/GED preferred, but not required
• No previous quality experience required

What to Wear
Employees must provide their own steel-toe shoes. Other required standard and project-specific PPE will be provided at the worksite.
