Quality Control Specialist

Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Specialist

Work Mode: Hybrid 

Pay rate range: $ 60.00 - $ 64.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications, and make strategic recommendations.
• Develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis.
• Perform quality assurance on data and analytical models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct quality control assessments of system outputs and reports.
• Identify and document data sources and lineage to support data governance and transparency.
• Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems, identify required data, assess time and effort, and establish a project plan.
• Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications.
• Apply comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
• Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards; recommend solutions.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Experience in Process Improvement or Project Management.
• Experience in Risk & Control, Quality Assurance, Internal Audit (IA), or other risk management functions.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree.
