Job Title
- Quality Assurance & Test Analyst
Role Overview
- Responsible for overseeing allQuality Assurance (QA) and testing activities related to theOMS Upgrade Project.
- Collaborate with project and operational teams to ensure testing activities are effectively integrated into the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- More than5 years of experience working with large and complexADMS/OMS systems.
- Ideally, experience withGEV ADMS v3.11 or above.
- Experience planning, developing, and implementing:
- Test strategies
- Test plans
- Test scenarios
- Test cases
- Hands-on experience creating and executing comprehensive test cases.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with:
- Development teams
- Business Analysts
- Product Owners
- Business Owners
- Strong understanding of application functionality and testing requirements.
Requirements Analysis & Test Planning
- Review requirements and design documents.
- Log questions and clarifications into theClarification Tracker.
- Ensure all testing-related queries are resolved before testing begins.
- Determine:
- In-scope testing items
- Out-of-scope testing items
- Create comprehensive test:
- Scenarios
- Stories
- Test cases
- Ensure test coverage addresses all functionalities and requirements.
- Prepare test data and verify its availability and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain aRequirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Ensure all requirements are properly validated.
- Support theTest Lead in developing the overall test plan.
Test Execution
- Upload test cases into the designatedtest management tool.
- Execute all test cases thoroughly to verify application functionality.
- Performregression testing to ensure fixes do not introduce new defects.
- Retest defects after resolution.
- Re-execute affected test cases once defects are fixed.
- Document test results with:
- Screenshots
- Date and timestamp
- Relevant testing details
- Ensure allPersonally Identifiable Information (PII) is properly masked.
Defect Management
- Identify and report defects discovered during testing.
- Document defects with:
- Detailed description
- Steps to reproduce
- Test data
- Screenshots
- Relevant supporting information
- Track defects through resolution.
- Perform defect retesting and validation.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Track application downtime in theDowntime Tracker.
- Report testing-related risks to theTest Lead and Project Manager.
- Clearly communicate the potential impact of risks on:
- Testing activities
- Project timelines
- Overall project delivery
- Create dashboards within the test management tool to monitor:
- Test execution status
- Defect status
- Testing progress
