Quality Assurance Consultant III

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Consultant. This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week. The consultant will be responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to achieve business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing methodologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis.
• 5 years of experience with Selenium, Automation, Java, and Lean Agile Certification.
• Expertise in conditioning and generating test data, building, and executing both manual and automated test suites.
• Proven experience in UI and API test automation with Java using Selenium and RestAssured.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub/BitBucket.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and active participation in Agile ceremonies.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Ability to identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types.
• Strong communication skills for reporting issues and defects with clear background information.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements through comprehensive testing.
• Lead test planning and case reviews, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Create and manage traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Utilize testing tools and processes to complete testing and support code promotion.
• Maintain and catalog test suites across all test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.).
• Execute manual and automated tests, report issues, and assist with defect triage.
