How You Will Make History Here...

As the Supervisor in the Quality Assurance group at our Goodyear, AZ manufacturing location, you will be responsible for making the plant a safe, reliable, and productive place to work while supporting our production. The responsibility includes managing and developing a Master Sanitation team of four direct reports who perform the sanitation of plant infrastructure. This is a first shift position, but candidates must have the flexibility to support their team on weekends or off hours, as needed. You will be a critical part of our Quality Assurance team, working with employees across departments to ensure the highest level of quality for our products.


What You Will Do...


Sanitation & Pest Control Leadership

  • Manage the development of sanitation standard work, training programs, cleaning validation, and verification processes.
  • Lead, develop, and continuously improve sanitation and pest control programs, systems, procedures, and databases.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities related to sanitation activities, including improvements to line cleaning efficiency and changeover turnaround times.
  • Track, analyze, and report sanitation KPIs to Operations Supervisors and Plant Leadership to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Serve as the primary plant contact for cleaning chemical suppliers, pest control providers, and janitorial contracted services.
  • Ensure sanitation programs meet all regulatory, customer, and corporate standards.
  • Partner with Corporate Food Safety teams to implement sanitation improvements, support line startups, and optimize extended production runs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for sanitation of plant infrastructure.

Quality Systems & Food Safety Support

  • Support internal audits and third-party audits including SQF, FDA, Organic, Gluten-Free, and GMP audits.
  • Serve as a backup PCQI, SQF Practitioner, and onsite backup to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Oversee the Environmental Monitoring Program, including data tracking, trending, CAPA management, and response to environmental events.
  • Support Quality Technician scheduling as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Quality Systems and assist with training efforts across QA and other functional teams.
  • Monitor compliance with data entry requirements across key systems including electronic Quality Management Systems, LIMS, and SAP.
  • Monitor CAPA progress and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Who You Will Work With...

This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and serves as a key member of the plant Quality team. You will directly manage four team members and collaborate closely with cross-functional manufacturing groups including Operations, Quality, and Plant Leadership. Success in this role requires strong partnership across departments to drive food safety, sanitation excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.


What You Bring to the Table... (Must Have)

  • High School Diploma/GED required with 2+ years of sanitation experience and 1+ year of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environmentORa Bachelor's degree required with 3 months of manufacturing experience
  • Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software

It Would Be Great if You Have... (Nice to Have)

  • Sanitation supervisory experience
  • Food Safety experience
  • 3+ years of Quality experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience in a plant environment with an understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Practical knowledge and application of food safety principles (e.g., Regulatory requirements, PCQI, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, food microbiology)
  • SQF Practitioner certification preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$65,500-$90,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
