We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Transaction Services team for 6 months in Manila, Philippines.
The Transaction Services team is a global center of excellence within our company for regulated payment services. It is the division responsible for the management of the legal entities under which all of our current licensed money transfer services (and in the future other regulated activities) will be conducted. The division (and associated shared services functions) are comprised of the components which are necessary to support the activities of a licensed payment services firm. These components include:
- The maintenance of payment institution /money transmitter licenses (and in future state, other applicable payment services licenses) for operating payments business in defined jurisdictions.
- Associated settlement accounts and other treasury services for the relevant Transaction Services entity
- Compliance services including but not limited to real-time sanctions screening / AML / Fraud
- Regulatory reporting to the relevant regulators on behalf of the regulated business and its subsequent activities.
- Supporting a number of products and use cases globally, including: Cross Border A2A, crypto (stablecoins) settlement, Open Banking, Acquiring and Master Merchant.
Role Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst role exists to provide an independent level of assurance around adherence to process in the Compliance Operations teams covering, but not limited to, Due Diligence, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Audit Remediation.
This role allows the individual to make a meaningful contribution to the development and refinement of processes and compliance controls in all the first line operational areas. Whilst there are processes to follow, an enquiring analyst will be able to step outside the process and add value by suggesting process and control improvements, driving them through to implementation by the first line Operations
In this position the Candidate will perform the following key responsibilities:
- Is experienced in evaluating compliance operational process such as KYC, CDD, EDD and Transaction Monitoring to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and regulations.
- Execute periodic reviews of multiple compliance processes to evaluate and measure the quality, completeness, and adherence to the corresponding processes’ procedure.
- Analyze the nature and cause of errors to understand root cause issues and identify areas of program and/or people skills needing improvement.
- Evaluate analyst performance against defined procedures and deliver clear, actionable feedback.
- Prepare monthly report of findings and metrics reflecting each reviewed process’ trends and themes and present to Quality Assurance Manager
- Document evaluation findings and error summaries and present them to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a large or global organization and 2+ years of experience in a financial crime compliance or related role.

Demonstrable analytical, investigative, or testing experience.

Knowledge of financial crime regulations

Demonstrable experience on quickly learning new and complex tasks.

A good understanding of analytical techniques to view and understand data.

Reporting writing skills using a combination of graphs and data.

Strong communication and influencing skills to drive recognition and understanding of issues and oversee resolution.

Highly competent with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and other data interrogation tools (tableau, power BI etc)
