Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a compassionate and dependablePsychiatric RN, Licensed Social Worker, or Licensed Counselor to provide onsite mental health services at the Wilkes County Jail in Georgia.

With a commitment ofup to 2 hours per week, this opportunity is ideal for a mental health professional looking to use their expertise in a correctional healthcare setting while maintaining flexibility in their existing schedule.

🧠 What You'll Do

• Provide onsite mental health services to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.

• Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations.

• Identify patient needs and provide appropriate interventions.

• Offer supportive counseling and crisis intervention as needed.

• Collaborate with healthcare personnel regarding patient mental health needs.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.

• Support continuity of care and promote quality mental health services.

Please note: This position requires onsite services only. Telehealth is not available for this role.

Qualifications

📋 Qualifications

Candidates must qualify through one of the following professional backgrounds:

• Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

• Licensed Social Worker

• Licensed Counselor

Applicants must hold the applicable license or credentials required for their professional role and be able to provide mental health services in accordance with applicable requirements.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in a correctional healthcare environment.
