Title:QC Analyst
Position Type:1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Newark, DE
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts; 36 or 48 hours per week, including days and nights

Compensation: $34-$40/HR
Position Overview
The QC Analyst I will be responsible for performing routine testing on finished products, in-process samples, and raw materials in the chemistry lab. This position provides analytical information to support the manufacturing process and ensure products meet specifications and consumer safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and consistently perform routine testing in the QC laboratory.
- Conduct testing in accordance with established SOPs.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Prepare and qualify reagents as required.
- Analyze and report test results through LIMS.
- Communicate and present test results and other pertinent information to appropriate personnel.
- Work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including both day and night shifts.
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate of Applied Science degree in Chemical Technology, Microbiology, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in a GMP laboratory or equivalent laboratory environment preferred.
- Chemistry laboratory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and analytical testing procedures.
- Strong math and analytical skills, including the ability to perform calculations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.
