Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Mobile Tester with strong expertise in web application automation, Android mobile testing, and API automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Java, SQL, and REST API testing, along with the ability to build and maintain automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and positive/negative test cases.

• Maintain requirements-to-defect traceability throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.

• Perform Android application testing across multiple devices, operating system versions, and emulators.

• Use Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and Android Studio for mobile testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Perform REST API testing, including authentication, schema validation, contract validation, and Postman-based testing.

• Validate backend data using SQL and PostgreSQL, including test data setup and cleanup.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve testing efficiency and release quality.

• Investigate automation failures using browser and network traces, application logs, screenshots, videos, and stack traces.

• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects in collaboration with development and QA teams.

• Improve QA processes, automation coverage, and CI/CD workflows.

• Communicate testing progress, risks, and results effectively across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.

• Strong experience in web application automation testing.

• Hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and Java.

• Strong experience in Android mobile application testing and automation.

• Proficiency in REST API testing and API automation.

• Experience with Postman, API authentication, schema validation, and contract testing.

• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills for backend data validation.

• Experience with Android Studio, ADB, emulators, and device compatibility testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement in QA processes.
