Title: QA Lead
Locations: Onsite: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $40-$46/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)
Job Description:
• Analyze business and functional requirements and define comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
• Lead end-to-end functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing across banking applications, as applicable.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to enable feature testing, align with stakeholders, and validate test results.
• Educate and guide the test automation team on test cases and scenarios that should be automated.
• Validate banking workflows, business rules, interfaces, APIs, and data integrity across distributed applications.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and report/manage defects in JIRA.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
• Partner with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform root-cause analysis for production issues and support release validation activities.
• Support applicable banking regulatory, security, and QA standards.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, quality dashboards, and daily status updates.
• Self-organize against demanding priorities and support ad hoc test-data requests. • Use approved enterprise AI toolkits to enhance and optimize the end-to-end test management lifecycle.
Skills Required :
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong banking-domain knowledge covering banking operations, transactions, payments, core banking processes, and customer journeys.
- Hands-on experience testing applications built on or integrated with different platforms.
- Strong experience documenting test plans, defining test strategies/scenarios, executing test cases, and reporting testing status for large, complex projects.
- Hands-on manual and automated testing experience; automation tools include Karate and Cypress.
- API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience with defect management using JIRA and testing within CI environments / CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to validate workflows, business rules, interfaces, APIs, data integrity, UI/UX, and end-to-end customer experiences.
- Nice to have:
- WireMock, JMeter, Selenium, Jenkins, and Postman.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and commitment to quality."
