About The Client:
A British multinational alcoholic beverage company with its headquarters in London, England. It operates from 132 sites around the world. It is a major distributor of Scotch whisky and other spirits. Distilleries owned by Client produce 40% of all Scotch whisky with over 24 brands.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure online QC such as line startup/change over from water treatment to final packing – Alcoholic Beverages.
- Coordinate with other departments for all rejection failures at unit.
- Calibrate all lab equipment’s, arrive at calibration plan and manage operations as per supplier manual.
- Responsible for maintenance of the equipment as per supplier recommendation.
- Analyse samples received for customer/consumer complaint and provide a report on findings to the unit head.
- Analyse non-conformities using tools and arrive at CAPA desirable.
- Assist quality manager for all quality jobs & MIS report preparation & submission to unit head.
- End of line defects (PPM).
- Sensory Evaluation.
- Liquid quality compliance.
- Adherence to quality standards – FSSC 22000 – Internal Auditor certification added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, developing quality related SOPs and its control.
- Experience in handling quality improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
- Excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills.
- Good Communication and Presentation skills.
- M.Sc Food Tech/B.Tech Food Tech/M.Sc Food Science.
