Job Title: QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analyticalQA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements

• Create test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases

• Execute manual and/or automated test cases

• Identify, document, and track defects

• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing

• Validate data accuracy using SQL queries (if applicable)

• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings

• Ensure application meets functional and non-functional requirements

• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues

• Maintain test documentation and reports

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger

• Validate UI/UX behavior across browsers and devices

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

• Experience in Manual Testing

• Knowledge of Automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright – if applicable)

• API Testing knowledge

• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation

• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON

• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)

• Version control knowledge (Git)

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work in Agile environment

• Team collaboration mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• ISTQB certification (optional but preferred)

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience Required

• 2–5 years (for mid-level role)

• 0–2 years (for junior role)

• 5+ years (for senior role)
