QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing needs.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis for defects and provide detailed testing feedback.
• Validate application functionality across different environments.
• Maintain testing documentation and provide regular status updates.
• Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards and business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Good experience in test case creation, execution, and defect management.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Good knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
