QA Engineer

Summary:

We are looking for a QA Engineer for a US client to support a major maintenance release of a highly customized enterprise analytics platform. This role focuses primarily on platform manual testing (70-80%), with the remaining 20-30% dedicated to UI and functional automation.
 
Responsibilities:

• Test platform deployments, configurations, and upgrade scenarios across environments ranging from ~20 to 200 servers
• Perform integration testing across platform components
• Use Linux command line to configure, inspect, and troubleshoot test environments
• Analyze logs to identify failures and root causes
• Develop and maintain Python-based test automation and tools
• Edit and maintain Jenkins jobs and CI/CD pipelines
• Support UI and functional automation efforts
• Review and improve technical and test documentation
• Collaborate with the pod and communicate effectively with US stakeholders
 
Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of QA experience
• Solid Python programming skills
• Solid Linux and command-line expertise
• Experience analyzing logs for troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Hands-on Jenkins CI/CD experience, including pipeline/job configuration
• Ability to read and edit technical documentation
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Java
• Groovy
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar UI automation tools
• Basic database knowledge

• Collaborative team player
• Adaptability in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
 
Must-Have Skills:

• Linux, command-line proficiency, and log analysis
• Jenkins CI/CD, including editing jobs and pipelines
