Role: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Cleveland, OH

Work Mode: Onsite – 5 days

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivatedQA Automation Engineer with strong expertise inPlaywright to support quality assurance initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of automation and manual testing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for enterprise applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Validate APIs, interfaces, and data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Support release validation and production deployment testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation, standards, and QA processes.
  • Analyze test results and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the QA organization.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on expertise inPlaywright (Mandatory).
  • Experience in both automation and manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, TestRail, or similar.
  • SQL knowledge for database validation and testing.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Java and Selenium automation framework.
  • Experience testing enterprise-scale applications.
  • Exposure to CI/CD and modern quality engineering practices.
