QA Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst to support the Business Lending - Discovery initiative within a large financial services environment.

The QA Analyst will work closely with business, development, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements. The role will focus on test planning, test case design and execution, defect management, functional validation, and overall software quality throughout the application lifecycle.

The successful candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently within a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to identify appropriate test scenarios and coverage.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and supporting test documentation. 
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities as required.
• Document, track, and follow up on defects throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other project stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not negatively impacted.
• Participate in planning sessions and project discussions to identify testing dependencies, risks, and quality considerations.
• Provide clear visibility into testing progress, defects, risks, and quality issues .
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
• Support the implementation of Quality Engineering practices across the delivery lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Professional experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or Software Tester .
• Strong hands-on experience designing and executing test cases.
• Ability to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into appropriate test scenarios.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Good defect identification, documentation, and lifecycle management skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently while contributing actively within a multidisciplinary team.
