Role Description
We are seeking a Python React Developer to design, develop, and enhance a modern enterprise Capability Catalog and Capability Map experience using React/TypeScript and Python.
Roles & Responsibilities
Full-Stack Engineering – React & Python
- Design, develop, and enhance a modern enterprise Capability Catalog and Capability Map experience using React/TypeScript and Python.
- Build intuitive user interfaces to browse, search, filter, and navigate business/technology capabilities and their relationships.
- Develop reusable React components for hierarchical views, capability details, search results, filters, dashboards, and interactive visualizations.
- Build Python/FastAPI services for capability data ingestion, transformation, validation, search, and API delivery.
- Transform capability and metadata inputs into normalized hierarchical/relationship models for presentation and downstream use.
- Build user experiences using catalogs, taxonomies, hierarchies, trees, graphs, or relationship-driven interfaces for exploring complex enterprise information.
- Implement advanced search, filtering, sorting, drill-down, metadata-driven navigation, and reusable visualization components.
- Use modern visualization libraries or graph/tree UI patterns.
- Design and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs connecting frontend experiences with capability data, enterprise services, and AI-enabled functions.
- Integrate Generative AI/LLM capabilities where appropriate to enrich, summarize, classify, search, or navigate capability information.
- Implement semantic search, AI-assisted discovery, tool integrations, or agentic workflows when required, with appropriate validation and guardrails.
- Integrate AI-generated or AI-enriched capability information into user-facing workflows with validation, guardrails, and traceability.
- Ensure frontend and backend services are secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across React and Python services.
- Optimize frontend rendering, API latency, data processing, and search/filter performance for large capability datasets.
- Containerize applications and support deployment through Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and production support practices; troubleshoot issues across UI, APIs, data, and infrastructure.
- Participate in Agile delivery, technical design discussions, code reviews, documentation, and collaboration with Product, Architecture, UX, Data, AI, and DevOps teams.
Full-Stack Engineering – React & Python
- Strong hands-on experience building enterprise full-stack applications using React 19/modern React, TypeScript, and Python 3.11+.
- Strong React expertise, including functional components, Hooks, state management, routing, reusable component design, responsive UI, accessibility, and frontend performance optimization.
- Strong Python backend experience using FastAPI; Flask/Django experience is useful.
- Strong experience designing and consuming secure REST APIs; GraphQL and WebSocket/SSE experience is desirable.
- Experience building catalog, taxonomy, hierarchy, tree, graph, or relationship-driven user experiences for exploring complex enterprise information.
- Strong experience transforming structured and semi-structured data into hierarchical models suitable for capability maps and interactive visualization.
- Experience implementing advanced search, filtering, sorting, drill-down, metadata-driven navigation, and reusable visualization components.
- Experience with modern visualization libraries or graph/tree UI patterns is highly desirable.
- Experience integrating LLM/Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications using APIs and modern AI frameworks.
- Exposure to RAG, semantic search, embeddings, AI agents, tool/function calling, MCP, or similar integration patterns is desirable.
- Ability to integrate AI-generated or AI-enriched capability information into user-facing workflows with validation, guardrails, and traceability.
- Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases; NoSQL exposure is useful.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend applications using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, PyTest, Playwright/Cypress, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of authentication/authorization, secure coding, logging, monitoring, error handling, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Full-stack engineering using React 19/modern React, TypeScript, and Python 3.11+.
- Strong React expertise, including functional components, Hooks, state management, routing, reusable component design, responsive UI, accessibility, and frontend performance optimization.
