About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience with Django or FastAPI, knowledge of RESTful API development, and proficiency in SQL databases.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable backend services, integrate third-party systems, optimize application performance, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.

• Build scalable web applications and backend services using Django or FastAPI.

• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

• Design, implement, and optimize SQL database schemas, queries, and transactions.

• Integrate third-party APIs, external services, and internal business systems.

• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented Python code.

• Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and application security measures.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend application issues.

• Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality.

• Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.

• Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–5 years of professional experience in Python development or backend software engineering.

• Strong proficiency inPython programming and object-oriented programming concepts.

• Hands-on experience withDjango and/or FastAPI.

• Experience designing and developingRESTful APIs.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Understanding of database design, indexing, joins, transactions, and query optimization.

• Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and API integration.

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with debugging, testing, and maintaining production-quality code.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Flask, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, or other Python frameworks and libraries.

• Experience with asynchronous programming and background task processing.

• Knowledge of Redis, Celery, or message queues.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

• Experience deploying applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Linux environments and application monitoring tools.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual Salary: $80,000–$150,000, depending on experience, skills, location, and qualifications.
