Python Developer (Hybrid)

We're hiring aPython Developer to join our team inColumbia, SC. This role offers ahybrid schedule, with 3 days a week onsite required.

Work Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 years of application development, systems testing, or related experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python
• Experience with:
  • Cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • API development & integration
  • CI/CD / DevOps tooling like GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and migrate Python-based services as part of a cloud modernization effort
• Analyze existing systems and rewrite or refactor components into Python
• Build cloud-native services and APIs
• Integrate services into the target cloud environment
• Build new Python modules and optimize performance

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degreel;OR
• Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in a related field

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development with experience in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. They should possess advanced skills in API development and integration, as well as familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.

The hourly rate for this position is $57.35.
