Python Developer (Hybrid)

We're hiring aPython Developerto join our team inColumbia, SC.This role offers ahybrid schedule.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with:
  • Python (advanced proficiency)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • API development & integration
  • CI/CD / DevOps tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and migrate Python-based services as part of a broader cloud modernization effort
• Analyze existing systems and rewrite or refactor components into Python
• Build cloud-native services and APIs and integrate those services into the target cloud environment
• Implement CI/CD automation

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;OR
• Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Developer IV position will possess advanced proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. They will have a strong background in API development and integration, as well as expertise in CI/CD and DevOps tooling like GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, able to work on a W-2, and capable of obtaining a low-level U.S. security clearance. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

The hourly rate for this position is $57.35.
