Payrate: $54.00 - $58.00/hr.
 
Details/Scope of the project:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and continuously improve software applications, APIs, databases, and related technology solutions.
• The role is hands-on and individual-contributor, covering front-end, back-end, and data-focused work across multiple projects.
• The Senior Developer contributes to architecture, feature development, code review, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
• They work with product, sales, marketing, and other business stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable, secure, maintainable software.
• The company is a broadband consulting and GIS data/application firm.
• Its work supports clients such as the FCC, the US Department of Commerce, and large telecom providers.

• Languages: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL Front-end: modern web development frameworks (none specified)
• Database: PostgreSQL, with geospatial objects and large datasets
• Cloud: AWS or Azure, including containerization, serverless architectures, managed databases, and network security
• Practices: APIs and backend services, deployment, monitoring, production support, code review, and technical documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Strong hands-on experience across web applications, backend services, APIs, and database solutions, including ownership of complex work from design through production support
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, and modern web frameworks, with experience delivering commercial or SaaS products
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python Solid understanding of application architecture, relational databases, data modeling, query optimization, geospatial objects, and large or complex datasets
• Experience with AWS or Azure, plus deployment, monitoring, containerization, and production support
• Cloud infrastructure and database experience, including containerized environments, managed databases, network security, and serverless architectures.

Pay Transparency:  The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:$54.00 - $58.00/hour. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law.  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.  Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings account option for qualified medical plan enrollments, accrual of up to 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, travel reimbursement, accommodations for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
