Location: San Francisco Office
Work Model:Onsite 3 days per week – Mandatory
Role Overview Looking for a strong backend engineer to build AI-powered agents, system-to-system integrations, and maintain MCP connectors. The ideal candidate will have strong Python and backend engineering experience, with exposure to distributed systems and AI development.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong Python development experience
- Strong backend systems engineering experience
- Strong SQL and database querying skills
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing backend/database operations
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AI development/coding tools such as Codex, Claude, or GitHub Copilot
- Ability to work onsite at the San Francisco office 3 days per week
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Temporal or other workflow orchestration platforms
- AI Agent development / Agent SDK
- MCP / MCP connectors
- Microservices and asynchronous processing
- React / full-stack development
- Cloud platforms and distributed architectures
