Python Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Create and execute end-to-end automation tests for web applications and business workflows.

• Perform API testing to validate functionality, integrations, and application reliability.

• Develop reusable automation frameworks and maintain existing test automation suites.

• Test retail e-commerce applications, warehouse management systems, or Manhattan product solutions.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

• Identify, report, track, and troubleshoot defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.

• At least 2 years of experience in API testing.

• 2+ years of experience in Retail E-commerce, Manhattan product suite, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Strong programming and coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the software testing lifecycle.

• Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD tools.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or REST-based testing frameworks.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

• Experience with cross-browser testing and test execution optimization.

• Familiarity with order management, inventory management, and warehouse workflows.
