Job Summary

Mastek is looking for a highly skilledPython AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-driven solutions that support business transformation and intelligent automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise inPython development,machine learning frameworks, and building scalable AI services in cloud environments.

You will work closely with data scientists, product teams, and engineering teams to build production-grade AI applications, integrate ML models into real-world systems, and improve model performance through continuous monitoring and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintainAI/ML applications and services using Python.
• Develop end-to-end solutions includingdata ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model integration.
• Deploy machine learning models into production usingREST APIs / microservices.
• Work with ML frameworks such asTensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Develop scalable solutions using cloud platforms likeAWS / Azure / GCP.
• Optimize model performance, inference speed, and resource utilization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for AI/ML workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement monitoring and logging for AI pipelines and deployed models.
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming expertise inPython (3.x).
• Experience working onAI/ML projects (training, testing, deployment).
• Knowledge of ML libraries/frameworks:
  • Scikit-learn
  • TensorFlow / PyTorch
  • XGBoost / LightGBM (preferred)
• Proficiency in building APIs using:
  • FastAPI / Flask / Django
• Strong knowledge of databases:
  • PostgreSQL / MySQL
  • Exposure toMongoDB / NoSQL is a plus
• Experience with version control and DevOps tools:
  • Git, Docker, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with ML deployment tools:
  • MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withLLMs / GenAI / NLP (LangChain, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs).
• Experience buildingAI-powered automation workflows.
• Understanding of MLOps best practices (model governance, drift detection, monitoring).
• Exposure to streaming/data platforms likeKafka / Spark.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau) is a plus.
