Psychology Consultant to provide clinical supervision and assessment oversight for MSc Clinical Psychology students at the University of Regina Psychology Training Clinic.
This role focuses primarily on child and adolescent psychological assessments, with preference for candidates experienced in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations. The consultant will supervise graduate students during their internship placements and ensure ethical, evidence-based clinical practice.
The selected consultant will:
- Provide8 hours per week of clinical supervision to MSc Clinical Psychology students
- Oversee child and adolescent psychological assessments, including:
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
- Anxiety disorders
- Depression
- Conduct intake reviews and case conceptualization
- Oversee assessment planning, psychological testing, diagnosis, and report writing
- Provide client and caregiver feedback sessions
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards
- Deliver supervision primarily onsite, with limited virtual supervision permitted
Licensure & Qualification Requirements
- Registered Psychologist or Registered Doctoral Psychologist
- Must be in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Authorized Practice Endorsement for diagnosis
- Proof of professional liability insurance required
- Preferably 3–5 years of clinical supervision experience
- Experience supervising graduate-level clinical psychology students
- Experience in child and adolescent psychological assessment
- ASD assessment experience strongly preferred
