Carlisle Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Program
📍 Location: 1400 Reed Street, 1st Floor, Philadelphia, PA
🕘Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
💵Pay: $19.00 per hour, non-exempt
🌙No nights or weekends
The Opportunity
CATCH is seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor to join our Carlisle Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services team.
In this role, you will work with adults in mental health recovery on goals they choose for themselves, such as finding a job, taking a class, or developing a consistent routine. You will support participants through one-on-one services, group activities, and work in the community.
You will also collaborate with outpatient providers and psychiatrists to help ensure each participant receives coordinated support.
What You’ll Do
- Work one-on-one with participants on recovery goals they have chosen for themselves
- Lead skills training, psychoeducation, and psychiatric rehabilitation groups using evidence-based practices
- Connect participants with community resources and accompany them when helpful
- Help plan the program schedule with the participants who attend
- Coordinate with outpatient providers and each participant’s psychiatrist
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with program, agency, and CBH requirements
- Participate in team meetings
- Complete required psychiatric rehabilitation training
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director or designee
Professional Development and CPRP Support
This position prepares staff to sit for theCertified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) exam. CATCH pays for the required training, exam, and certification renewals.
What You’ll Need
- A bachelor’s degree in any field
- Strong group facilitation and assessment skills
- Sound judgment and a team-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in behavioral health, human services, or a related field
- CPRP certification
- Two years of direct mental health service experience, including one year in psychiatric rehabilitation
- Experience working with adults
Candidates with a CPRP, or with a bachelor’s degree and the experience listed above, may qualify at thePsychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist level. Candidates who qualify for the Specialist level based on experience must obtain the CPRP within two years.
