Provider- Senior Engineer - Full Stack Development
Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid - 3 Days WFO)
Experience: 5-7 years
CTC : 26.5 LPA
Notice period : Immediate to 30 Days Max

Scope: Provider Domain, Full Stack Development (.NET/C#, React/Angular), AWS, Healthcare Interoperability (HL7, FHIR, X12 EDI), Go, AI-Assisted Engineering

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Engineer with solid full stack development experience and growing knowledge of the US healthcare provider domain to design, build, and maintain complex applications on .NET/C# and modern front-end frameworks. Based in India, you will be a core individual contributor on an offshore delivery team, working closely with your Technical Lead / Manager and Onshore Engineers to deliver high-quality, cloud-native solutions supporting provider network, credentialing, and directory systems.
You will bring strong engineering fundamentals, a proactive ownership mindset, and a genuine commitment to AI-assisted development as a standard part of your daily workflow.

Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
• Design and develop well-structured, testable, and performant .NET/C# (ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core) backend services and APIs supporting provider domain workflows.
• Build responsive, accessible front-end features using React or Angular, consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable code that meets team coding standards and passes peer code review without requiring significant rework.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Implement unit, integration, and component-level automated tests to maintain high code coverage and prevent regression.
• Participate actively in sprint ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos.
• Investigate and resolve production defects and incidents, including root-cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation: API contracts, data flow diagrams, runbooks, and deployment guides.
Provider Domain Contribution
• Develop working knowledge of provider domain workflows — credentialing, provider directory, provider data management, network management, roster processing, and provider-payer data exchange — and apply this understanding to design accurate and compliant solutions.
• Implement integrations with healthcare data standards including FHIR R4, HL7 v2, and X12 EDI transactions under the guidance of the Technical Lead.
• Ensure code handles provider and member data in a HIPAA-compliant manner, including proper access control, encryption, and audit logging.
• Raise domain-related questions and ambiguities early, working with the Technical Lead and onshore team to resolve them before they impact delivery.
Cloud & DevOps Participation
• Deploy and operate services on AWS using ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and API Gateway.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Write and maintain Dockerfiles and Kubernetes manifests for containerized service deployment.
• Monitor application health, investigate alerts, and participate in on-call rotations as applicable.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on full stack .NET/C# development.
• Strong proficiency in .NET/C# (ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core) and solid working knowledge of React or Angular.
• Good working knowledge of AWS core services: ECS or EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and API Gateway.
• Proficient in SQL Server or PostgreSQL: schema design, complex queries, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and API security.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and Docker.
• Familiarity with software design patterns (Repository, CQRS, Mediator) and SOLID principles.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills for working effectively with onshore and offshore team members.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
AI-Assisted Engineering (Required)
• Active, consistent use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) as a core part of daily engineering work — for code generation, test writing, refactoring, debugging, and documentation.
• Validates all AI-generated code before committing: checks for correctness, security issues, and unintended behaviors, and never treats AI output as production-ready without review.
• Handles prompts responsibly: never includes PHI, sensitive provider data, client credentials, or proprietary code in prompts sent to external AI tools.
• Actively looks for ways to use AI assistance to improve personal productivity and code quality, and shares effective techniques with teammates.
• Basic awareness of AI/LLM concepts — including what RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering are — sufficient to participate in team discussions on AI-driven feature development.

Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to the healthcare provider domain: provider credentialing, provider directory, network management, or provider-payer data exchange workflows.
• Hands-on experience parsing or generating HL7 v2 messages or X12 EDI transactions (270/271, 837P).
• Familiarity with FHIR R4 REST APIs, particularly Provider Directory or Patient Access profiles.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Cloud Practitioner certification.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs or event-driven messaging patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS EventBridge).
• Familiarity with SignalR or WebSocket-based real-time communication patterns.
• Experience using Blazor for front-end development in a .NET-centric environment.
