Electrical Design Engineer

Blue Projects is looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer, with strong electrical background, and experienced in using 3D programs as Revit and AutoCAD.

Eagerness to learn and expand its knowledge is also a key point.

Requirements:

•      Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

•             Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical systems design

•             Good English speaking and writing skills is mandatory

•             Modelling skills for main electrical plant, electrical panels cabling and detailing

•             Experience with multidisciplinary coordination

•             Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems such as Revit and AutoCAD

•             Solid understanding of electrical systems

•             Solid knowledge of the Romanian and European norms and regulations

•             Solid knowledge in existing electrical systems and equipment

•             Able to propose new and innovative solutions

•             Able to conduct meetings with clients and respond to client’s demands in due time and with comprehensive solutions

•             Extra low voltage design diploma is mandatory

•             PV panels design or multiline diagram schematic design is a plus

•             Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicable programs

•             Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•             Background in designing low voltage and extra low voltage systems for industrial and logistics buildings is mandatory.

Responsibilities

•             Create systems according to client’s demand and expectations. Propose efficient solutions both in terms of cost and consumption

•             Review the project specifications to define requirements.

•             Meet with the client or other consultants to gain a clearer understanding of what type of design is needed.

•             Determine the basic design for the electrical system. The designer is required to use either a CAD modeling software (Revit) or a 2D design software (AutoCAD) to create a 3D model representation of the system or 2D drawings and incorporate any equipment related to the electrical systems, including all connections and control units.

•             Create single-line diagrams using EcoStruxure Power Design

•             Coordinate the medium voltage and BMS designer where is necessary

•             Create, verify and validate all Material Approval Forms

•             Answer any questions or solve any problems that come up during conception, design and installation that are related to his design.

•             Coordinate with the rest of the design team (Architectural, Structural and Mechanical)

•             Prepare reports, equipment schedules, specifications, etc. 

•             Prepare schematics, layouts and details according to design requirements.
