LOCATION: Santa Clara, CA
DURATION: 6 Months (potential extension)
PAY RANGE: $96 - $112/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Client is seeking an experienced contract Project Manager to provide specialized project management expertise for several time-bound strategic initiatives within Global Travel operations, including the Corporate Card program, Travel Agency RFP, and ServiceNow Travel Desk implementation. This engagement is focused on delivering defined project outcomes, milestones, and business objectives. The contractor will operate as an independent project resource, providing subject matter expertise, program leadership, stakeholder coordination, and project execution support. The role is intended to augment internal capacity for specific initiatives and is not designed to perform ongoing employee functions or assume people-management responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Corporate Card Program
- Lead project planning, coordination, and execution activities associated with enhancements and expansion of the corporate card program
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Finance, HR, Legal, and Travel stakeholders on program requirements, controls, communications, and implementation plans
- Develop project plans, risk assessments, status reporting, training materials, and adoption strategies
- Track project milestones, dependencies, issues, and deliverables through completion
- Travel Desk Implementation
- Manage project execution for the implementation of a ServiceNow-based Travel Desk solution from requirements gathering through deployment and stabilization
- Coordinate activities among Travel, IT, HR, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Support workflow design, service catalog development, testing coordination, change management planning, and user readiness activities
- Monitor project schedules, risks, dependencies, and implementation milestones
- Travel Agency RFP and Transition Support
- Support project management activities related to travel management company (TMC) sourcing and selection process
- Coordinate project timelines, stakeholder reviews, deliverables, and governance checkpoints
- Assist with transition planning, implementation tracking, and service-level readiness activities
- Facilitate communication and alignment across Procurement, Legal, Finance, Travel, and external partners
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of project or program management experience delivering complex enterprise initiatives
- Demonstrated experience leading corporate card, travel, finance operations, technology implementation, or similar cross-functional programs
- Prior experience with Client corporate card programs and travel management company sourcing initiatives strongly preferred
- Strong expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and execution oversight
- Experience translating business requirements into actionable project deliverables while coordinating with technical and business teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present project updates to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in large, matrixed enterprise environments
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Concur, Coupa, ServiceNow, or similar travel and expense platforms
- Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or business intelligence workstreams using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience applying AI-enabled productivity tools to project delivery and process improvement
- Prior experience supporting Fortune 500 technology organizations
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Contract engagement for up to 12 months, with potential extension based on project requirements and business needs
- Contractor will not have responsibility for employee supervision, performance management, hiring decisions, compensation decisions, or other managerial employee functions
- Contractor will work collaboratively with stakeholders while maintaining focus on project execution, milestone achievement, and delivery of agreed-upon work products
- Onsite presence in Santa Clara, CA is required based on project and stakeholder collaboration needs

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
