About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Migration Integrity & Customer Validation Analyst contractor to join our team supporting large-scale Wireless and Fiber migration execution, customer validation, and migration quality.
The primary focus of this role is ensuring customer accounts are ready for migration and validating that accounts migrate accurately. Responsibilities include pre-migration remediation and eligibility revalidation, post-migration reconciliation and serviceability review, exception investigation, fallout support, and evidence capture. The role supports the end-to-end migration integrity lifecycle, from identifying and correcting account conditions that could prevent successful migration through validating migrated accounts in production and investigating discrepancies or potential customer impacts. This individual will also identify recurring account, data, eligibility, or migration patterns that may indicate broader issues. Findings will help improve migration readiness, reduce customer impact, and increase confidence as migration volumes scale. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing detailed account-level analysis in a fast-paced environment and can move between hands-on investigation, data reconciliation, exception management, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Migration Account Remediation & Data Cleanup: Review customer accounts requiring remediation prior to migration. Investigate account, billing, service, eligibility, and legacy data conditions and perform approved manual cleanup or corrective activities needed to prepare accounts for migration.
2. Migration Eligibility Revalidation: Revalidate accounts following remediation to confirm they meet established migration eligibility requirements. Verify blocking conditions have been resolved and identify accounts requiring additional investigation before migration.
3. Post-Migration Account Validation: Perform detailed validation of migrated accounts to confirm critical customer, billing, service, product, feature, and account information transitioned as expected. Compare pre- and post-migration conditions and identify discrepancies requiring investigation.
4. Account Reconciliation & Serviceability Review: Perform account- level reconciliation and serviceability reviews following migration. Validate expected account configurations, services, products, features, and billing treatment and identify conditions that could create customer or operational impacts.
5. Migration Exception Investigation & Fallout Support: Investigate migration failures, validation exceptions, and account discrepancies to determine whether conditions represent isolated issues, expected behavior, data-quality problems, or potential broader migration defects. Support fallout resolution and revalidation following corrective action.
6. Evidence Capture & Traceability: Maintain clear evidence for remediation and validation activities. Document account conditions, actions performed, pre- and post-migration comparisons, exceptions, validation results, and final disposition to provide appropriate traceability.
7. Migration Integrity Monitoring & Trend Identification: Monitor validation results, exceptions, fallout, and recurring account conditions to identify emerging migration risks and patterns that may require broader investigation or corrective action.
8. Customer Impact Assessment & Escalation: Evaluate migration discrepancies from a customer-impact perspective. Clearly document potential billing, service, account, or customer-experience impacts and escalate significant or recurring conditions to the appropriate teams.
9. Migration Command Center & Production Support: Support migration command-center operations, production migration events, readiness reviews, and stabilization activities. Provide timely account investigation, validation results, exception status, and evidence to support migration decisions.
10. Migration Reporting & Status Tracking: Maintain accurate tracking of accounts reviewed, remediated, validated, cleared, or requiring additional investigation. Provide reporting on validation outcomes, exceptions, customer-impacting risks, remediation progress, trends, and blockers.
11. Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Partner across migration, business, product, technology, billing, operations, QA, analytics, and customer support teams to investigate discrepancies and drive issues toward resolution.
12. Migration Quality & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve remediation, eligibility validation, reconciliation, exception management, and post-migration validation. Help establish standardized and scalable processes as migration volumes grow.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in data validation, account reconciliation, production validation, migration support, billing operations, quality assurance, data remediation, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed account-level investigations, identify discrepancies, and determine appropriate remediation or escalation actions.
• Experience performing pre- and post-change comparisons across customer accounts, billing systems, service configurations, or complex datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect information across multiple systems and identify patterns or anomalies.
• Experience applying defined business rules or eligibility criteria across customer or account populations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform high-volume account validation while maintaining accuracy and documentation.
• Experience investigating migration fallout, production exceptions, data-quality issues, or customer-impacting discrepancies.
• Ability to distinguish isolated account conditions from potential broader migration or data-quality issues.
• Strong documentation skills, including evidence capture, validation results, exceptions, corrective actions, and final dispositions.
• Ability to translate detailed account or technical findings into clear customer and business impacts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, exceptions, and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively across business, product, technology, billing, operations, QA, analytics, and customer support teams.
• Comfortable supporting time-sensitive production migrations, command-center activities, and stabilization efforts.
• Telecommunications, wireless billing, customer account migration, large-scale platform transformation, or production support experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with customer account and billing platforms is a plus.
