Are you ready to build your career by joining Utilities Solutions Company? If so, our client is hiring a Project Manager - Regulated Electrical Transmission.
Position Type:
- Direct Hire
- On-Site
- 5 - 8 years experience.
- Significant experience as a project manager or senior project manager in the regulated electric utility industry.
- Familiarity with electric transmission and the regulatory environment, including the New York ISO and FERC.
- Experience with utilities such as NYPA, or LIPA is relevant.
- Strong contract-management skills, including experience evaluating claims and contractor submissions.
- Excellent professional writing and communication skills.
- Manage contractual and commercial aspects of major projects.
- Review contracts and assess contractor claims, submissions, delays, and requests for relief.
- Evaluate the facts and applicable contract terms, then prepare clear, professional responses and correspondence.
- Monitor project schedules, timelines, service-level commitments, and contractor performance.
- Coordinate with project teams and provide practical project-management support.
- Visit project sites as needed.
