The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for the transition of new products from Engineering to Production. This position is responsible for coordinating the operations deliverables to build and test the prototypes, validate the Pilot run and ramp up for mass production. The Manufacturing PM is responsible for coordinating with supply chain, production engineering, test engineering, planning and contract manufacturing.Â
This position is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and controlling many simultaneous projects. This position requires good organization and communication skills, both written and oral, to collaborate with cross functional teams of internal and external organizations. The candidate should be able to direct tasks and priorities with minimal supervision. Knowledge of the Electronic Manufacturing, Project Management Process and experience as a Project Manager is a plus. Strong computer skills in MS Project, MS Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Visio) is a plus.
The Project Manager is expected to Independently coordinate stakeholders across functions, and maintain strong customer and business awareness throughout program execution.

Responsibilities:
- Create project plans for procurement, prototype builds, production support equipment and mass production for launching new products
- Manage and control projects, measure and communicate progress against the baseline plan
- Identify and document project risks. Develop risk mitigation plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables and schedules.
- Lead product reviews and Launch Readiness reviews
- Coordinate the production plans with the supply /demand teams, identify impacted products and plans to transition from the old to new products.
- Coordinate transfers of products to contract manufacturers for mass production
- Support PMO process improvements, reporting enhancements, and cross-functional coordination initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3- 5 years’ experience inProject Management, ability to lead multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- 3-5 years’ experience in electronic manufacturing industry
- 3-5 yearsfamiliarity with NPI processes and manufacturing readiness coordination.
- 1-3 years’ experience working with contract manufacturers and/or OEM vendors
- 1-3 years’ experience working with supply chain teams to develop long lead mitigation strategies
- 3-5 years’ experience contributing to PMO process improvement initiatives.
- Strong Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Power BI skills
- Strong Project Management process skills
- Strong data analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Jira and best practices knowledge to execute feature releases
- Manufacturing process familiarity
- Electronic and/or Mechanical product knowledge
Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($72,500 - $117,500) which consists of base salary (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
