Project Manager II

Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Use cross-functional capabilities to support Business Case Approval, Technical Specification creation, issuance of RFQs and POs, and the delivery of Capital Equipment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and step owners across business to ensure on-time delivery of all steps within Capex Purchasing Process.
• Attend and facilitate Kaizens and Roadmaps to support the capacity ramp-up.
• Lead efforts to ensure Smartsheet schedule is updated and accurate.
• Create and lead development of new schedules for Capital Equipment incorporating Sourcing, Procurement, Installation, and Qualification Activities.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing to implement new ideas that enhance the overall scheduling process.
• Identify and implement cost-out opportunities.
• Provide regional, and in some cases, global shop support.
• Cultivate a positive working environment and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed.
• Ensure the team delivers change that has business impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• High level of expertise in Project Management Scheduling Software, preferably Smartsheet.
• Continuous Improvement Leadership experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Production Supervisor Experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Manufacturing Experience.
