Project Manager - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a hybrid position (minimum of 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined technology deliverables which requires engagement from multiple teams. The Project Manager will communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This position involves facilitating routines to support delivery such as kick-offs, status reviews, and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver defined deliverables, engaging multiple teams as required
• Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and ensure compliance to standards
• Provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables
• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams

Requirements:

• 5 years of end-to-end Project and/or Release Management experience in a large-scale technology environment
• Strong understanding of IT Project Management, Change Management, and Production Deployment processes
• Hands-on experience with Jira, including workflow management, dashboard creation, reporting, and metrics generation
• Working knowledge of Quality Center (QC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
• Experience reviewing, approving, and governing production changes throughout the change management lifecycle
• Ability to conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and ensure Change Request (CRQ) quality and compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, assess, escalate, and resolve risks and issues
• Experience coordinating across Application Development, Infrastructure, QA, Operations, and Business teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple deployments and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting effectively with senior leaders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong project financial management and budget tracking experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve project planning and execution
• Ability to use AI tools for documentation, status reports, risk assessments, and meeting minutes
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted analytics to identify trends, risks, and dependencies

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or other relevant project management certifications
• Experience within the Payments, Treasury, Cash Management, Foreign Exchange (FX), or Banking domain
• Experience managing global, cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, Release Management, and Production Support processes
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies
• Experience working in highly regulated financial services environments
• Experience with data analytics and reporting using Power BI or similar tools
• Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-powered productivity tools
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles, data privacy, security, and governance requirements
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Power BI

Pay range: $52.54 - $60.54 per hour
