Job Summary
We are looking for an experiencedProject Manager / Senior IT Project Manager to join the IT organization of a leading medical device company. The candidate will be responsible for leadingmedium-to-large, complex technology projects from initiation through successful delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience inhealthcare technology or medical device environments, excellent project leadership and stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding ofPMO methodologies, processes, templates, and tools.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience working inMedical Devices, Healthcare Technology, or Healthcare IT
- StrongProject Leadership and Delivery experience
- ExcellentStakeholder Management and Communication skills
- Strong knowledge ofPMO methodologies, templates, processes, and tools
- Experience managing complex projects frominitiation through implementation
- Strong experience withproject planning, budgeting, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ability to work effectively withbusiness stakeholders, IT leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Good-to-Have Skills
- Basic understanding ofArtificial Intelligence (AI) technologies
- Experience implementing or supportingAI/technology initiatives
- Experience working in regulated healthcare or medical device environments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead medium-to-large and complex IT/technology projects frominitiation to completion
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure projects are deliveredon time, within scope, and within budget
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, technical teams, and external vendors
- Establish project governance and followPMO standards, methodologies, and templates
- Identify and manage projectrisks, issues, dependencies, and changes
- Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and reports to leadership
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party deliverables
- Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive issue resolution and make appropriate decisions to keep projects on track
- Ensure successful transition of completed projects into business/IT operations
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of overall project/program management experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Business, Healthcare, or a related field
- Proven experience managing complexIT/technology projects
- Healthcare, medical device, or healthcare technology experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to attend anin-person interview in Austin, TX.
