Job Summary
- Client is seeking a Commercial Project Manager responsible for supporting the planning, execution and management of strategic initiatives and projects.
- The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities and the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external project team members to plan and drive comprehensive project plans, define project Product, set timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate team meetings, agendas, maintain record of meeting notes, action items and next steps.
- Ensure action items are resolved and documented.
- Interacts with team members, including director and senior-level staff, in driving the completion of deliverables.
- Monitor performance and track progress of key initiatives and milestones
- Escalation of project delays, identification of mitigations of project delays
- Communication with internal team members and external customers
- Collaborate with national cross-functional team members including, sales, marketing, field service, project engineering, research & development, program management and others as needed.
- Communicates status of project deliverables to core team leader, team members, and stakeholders.
- Generate and share monthly update reports
- Track potential project risks, capture mitigation strategies and assess the project impact.
Manager Priorities / Candidate Profile
- This is a true Project Manager position. Previous recruiting efforts produced candidates who lacked foundational project management skills, so suppliers should focus on individuals with hands-on project management experience rather than project coordinators, analysts, or administrative support professionals.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project deliverables simultaneously

- Customer relationship management
- Vendor management and vendor relationship experience
- Contract management or contract coordination experience
- Experience working cross-functionally with external and internal stakeholders
- Experience building relationships and driving results within remote teams
- Candidates must be comfortable facilitating customer meetings, presenting professionally on camera, and documenting meeting notes live.
- Structured remote work environment required.
- Candidate should be comfortable working primarily East Coast business hours.
