Description:
Impresiv Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the day-to-day coordination of a health plan software implementation. The consultant will join an active program, establish a reliable delivery baseline, and coordinate business stakeholders, vendor teams, and independent quality assurance resources.

The ideal candidate will have strong implementation governance experience and the ability to translate unresolved work into clear decisions, assigned ownership, and achievable milestones. This role requires effective stakeholder management, executive communication, and a results-driven approach to managing complex healthcare technology implementations.

What You Will Do:

  • Reconcile contracted scope, current module status, prior commitments, and remaining deliverables into one integrated project plan.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with assigned owners, dependencies, resource allocations, testing windows, and acceptance milestones.
  • Coordinate phased implementations within agreed limits on concurrent modules while separately tracking production remediation and stabilization activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive issue, defect, risk, dependency, and decision records, ensuring visibility into resolution status and recurrence history.
  • Facilitate stakeholder working sessions and provide executive-level reporting on project progress, outstanding issues, forecasted timelines, and required decisions.
  • Coordinate vendor quality assurance (QA), independent validation, client user acceptance testing (UAT), training, release readiness, and support transitions.
  • Identify and escalate project risks through established governance processes while managing approved scope and schedule changes.
  • Validate client acceptance documentation and track outstanding commitments through stabilization and project closeout.
  • Coordinate operational support handoffs, including known issues, client contacts, service entitlements, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and maintain key project deliverables, including integrated project plans, milestone and resource forecasts, consolidated issue and defect logs, RAID and decision registers, status reports, change-control records, and acceptance and stabilization tracking.
You Will Be Successful If:
  • You establish a reconciled project baseline that accurately reflects scope, resources, dependencies, and remaining deliverables.
  • You proactively identify and escalate project risks, issues, and blocked work to ensure timely resolution.
  • You maintain accurate, transparent project reporting and provide stakeholders with actionable updates.
  • You drive evidence-supported milestone completion and ensure deliverables meet established acceptance criteria.
  • You develop realistic project schedules based on confirmed resources and dependencies rather than unsupported completion estimates.
  • You effectively coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain project momentum and accountability.
  • You successfully manage implementation activities through stabilization, operational handoff, and project closeout.
What You Will Bring:
  • Minimum of seven years of project management experience, including complex software implementations involving business and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in health plan or healthcare payer operations and implementation delivery.
  • Proven ability to join projects midstream, reconcile conflicting project status reports, and establish realistic recovery schedules.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements governance, defect tracking, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and release readiness.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling, tracking, and issue-management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential.
  • Experience with compliance, audit, delegation oversight, or other health plan operational software platforms.
  • Experience with the Inovaare platform is highly desirable but not required.
