Location: Hybrid – Kemmerer, WY
Type: W-2 contract, 3 year assignment

About the role
Lead technology projects for an application team in the energy sector. You’ll plan and deliver the team’s initiatives, coordinating business stakeholders, technical staff and vendors, and help set up the project delivery processes the team will use going forward.
We’re hiring at junior, mid and senior levels. Scope depends on experience.

What you’ll do

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of the team’s technology initiatives
• Coordinate business stakeholders, technical resources and other project team members
• Own the project schedule, budget, risk log and status reporting for the life of the project
• Build and document repeatable project delivery processes and standards for the team

What you need

• 5+ years leading IT project delivery
• Strong stakeholder communication and vendor coordination skills
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

For Mid and Senior levels, also:

• Experience building or improving project delivery processes for a new or growing team

Preferred background

• Commercial nuclear power plant operations experience, ideally with accountability to NERC and FERC requirements
• Or experience at a regulated utility or heavy-industrial company
• PMP or equivalent certification

Nice to have

• Enterprise asset management (such as IBM Maximo) implementation or upgrade projects
• Integration or data migration projects
• Project tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira or Azure DevOps
• Change control and documentation in a regulated environment

Experience levels

• Junior (0–4 years): manages smaller projects or workstreams with general guidance
• Mid (4–8 years): runs projects independently from kickoff through go-live
• Senior (8+ years): leads complex, multi-team initiatives, advises leadership and mentors other PMs

Work environment

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use stairs
• Travel: 0–5%
