Job Description
The Project Manager leads the identification, planning, execution, and implementation of complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting CSC operations, including 24-Hour Banking and contact center initiatives. Projects may be general business or systems-related and will require close partnership with operational and technical teams.
This role manages initiatives from beginning to end with limited oversight, builds integrated project plans, coordinates dependencies across multiple workstreams and working groups, and owns project documentation. The Project Manager drives stakeholder alignment, facilitates decisions and governance forums, and proactively manages risks, issues, and escalations to support successful and timely delivery.
The Project Manager translates complex information into clear, concise updates for senior leaders. This includes developing PowerPoint presentations, communicating progress and recommendations, and independently leading project discussions.
This role requires working from one of the posted U.S. Bank locations three (3) or more days per week. This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, cross-functional business and technology initiatives from initiation through completion.
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and project documentation.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and working groups across CSC operations, contact center, and technical teams.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and influence partners across functions to move initiatives forward.
- Facilitate decision-making, status reviews, and governance forums.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, exceptions, dependencies, and escalations.
- Create clear project narratives, executive-level updates, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Present project progress, decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and independently lead related discussions.
- Work effectively across traditional project-management and Agile environments.
- Support implementation, user readiness or training, and evaluation of project outcomes, as applicable.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience
-Advanced project-management experience, including the ability to lead initiatives end to end with limited oversight
- Strong stakeholder-management, influencing, and alignment-building skills
- Experience developing integrated project plans and managing interdependencies
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and turn complexity into a clear narrative
- Experience with Jira and Smartsheet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executive presence

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
