Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Professional to support engineering programs and cross-functional initiatives for Apple through Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination, engineering operations, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive complex projects from planning through execution in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with globally distributed cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Experience managing engineering projects within consumer electronics, manufacturing, semiconductor, or technology environments.

6+ years of experience in Engineering Project Management, Technical Program Management, or Project Engineering.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards, quality processes, and documentation requirements.

Support engineering change management, process improvements, and product lifecycle activities.

Monitor project KPIs and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.

Facilitate technical meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up.

Track project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables while identifying and mitigating project risks.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management.

Manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
