Purpose of the Role
The Project Engineer will lead technical implementation of Client AEMS EMS/SCADA systems for utility customers. This role combines engineering execution with project delivery responsibilities, ensuring compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Accountability: Oversee technical aspects of project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Customer Interface: Act as the primary technical contact for customers, building strong relationships and serving as the link with the customer teams.
- Leadership: Provide guidance to junior engineers and coordinate resources for small to medium-sized projects.
- Configure and integrate Client AEMS systems in customer environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (design notes, configuration guides, test procedures).
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and system cutover activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-deployment phases.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, NERC CIP, customer quality processes.
Mandatory Requirements
- Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience withClient AEMS EMS/SCADA (must have).
- Education: Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering (must have).
- Location: Remote in the US with flexibility to travel as required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with power system applications (e.g., power flow, state estimator, contingency analysis).
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Knowledge of networking, system integration, and cybersecurity standards.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, qTest, and automation frameworks (e.g., Katalon).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions.
